DelphiNews November 2011

This DelphiNews is the final edition for this year.

I would like to thank you for your support and feedback during 2011 and also to welcome a number of new clients to DelphiNews.

Past editions can be accessed via the Delphi Financial Management website link at the right of this message. If you have any difficulty finding an article please contact us with the details and we will arrange to forward the information to you.

The November Market Update notes that "October and November has been a period of drama, anticipation and anxiety. All eyes were on Europe, as investor sentiment continues to reflect uncertain economic conditions".

The news however was positive for the US with a pick up in growth and retail sales. Meanwhile "The IMF said that Australia's performance since the global financial crisis has been enviable".

Attached is a copy of MLC's medium-term view and Strategic Overlay positions. This overview provides an insight into MLC Investment Management's thinking when designing an monitioring investment portfolios. It includes an estimate of prospective returns for various asset classes. 2011_10_MLC_Investments_Strategic_Overlay_October_2011.pdf

Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this information or your investment portfolio.

If you would like to provide some feedback please contact us.

The Delphi office will be closed from the 19th December 2011 to the 4th January 2012. However as usual if your matter is urgent please contact us by email which will be monitored during this period.

Finally I would like to wish you and your loved ones all the best for the Holiday Season, whether that be Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice or simply a chance to enjoy the company of friends and family and take a break before heading into the New Year.

As is our custom we have made a donation to a charity in lieu of sending individual cards. This year we provided some funds to assist the Aspect School at Terrigal on the Central Coast purchase equipment to aid in the teaching of their autistic students.

Thank you once again for your support.

Regards
